Adi the Monk is a guitarist and solo artist based in Asheville, NC. With an expressive and authentic sound, he echoes traditions of Blues, Country, Jazz and Soul.

Born in Southern Illinois near the banks of the Mississippi River, He has played guitar and other instruments since childhood. He fell in love with Blues music in his early teens. Adi went on to become a monk for 8 years, living in temples in India and Nepal. He has also lived in the Philippines, Greece and the Middle East.
He has been featured as a regular performer at the world famous Biltmore Estate for over 7 years. Adi is passionate about playing big and small shows all over the region, both solo and with his band Mojo Mountain.
