ADHD: Let's talk about late diagnosis

Join us at Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC) for an insightful, interactive event discussing the challenges, the huge relief and the unusual nature of late diagnosis of ADHD, with a focus on harnessing the strengths.
The session will include panel discussions, spoken word sessions and a movement therapy workshop.
Discussion topics include :
- Gender differences
- The importance of self forgiveness
- How to reduce negative self talk and over apologising
- Pathways to diagnosis
- Addiction
- Access to work (Support from the government)
- Tips for self care (Mindfulness, grounding techniques etc...)
- The basics of the neuroscience and the hunt for dopamine
- The importance of harnessing ADHD strenghts
- Local resources /signposting
Whether you're personally affected or just curious, this is a safe space to share experiences, ask questions, and learn from experts and others with lived expertise in the field.
WE CREATE ADHD FRIENDLY EVENTS that offer printed off schedule, engaging activities, visual aids, fidget toys, full permission to doodle, tap, fidget, walk around, go outside, smoke (outside) if you need to.
