About this Event
This course is for any parent of a child with an ADHD diagnosis or suspects their child has ADHD and would like to know more about this misunderstood and stigmatised condition.
Delivered by Michelle Shavdia, founder of Find Your Spark and coach psychologist, you will be part of a group of likeminded adults wanting to learn more about the lived experience and symptoms of ADHD.
This evidence-based ADHD awareness session will briefly cover:
• Background to ADHD and neurodiversity
• Overlaps between the neurodivergent conditions such as autism and dyspraxia
• ADHD symptoms – Executive function and emotional dysregulation challenges and strengths
• Neurodiversity in education and employment
• Social change
• Routes to diagnosis
• ADHD treatment/self-care
• ADHD Coaching
You will be given support materials on the day.
There will be the opportunity to book in ADHD coaching with Michelle on the day and be a part of a community.
Michelle Shavdia is a specialist in ADHD within education, training and coaching. She has ADHD and was diagnosed as an adult at 37 years old. She has appeared on numerous podcasts and her business Find Your Spark has been nominated for a Start Up Award for supporting consumers in 2023.
