This is a support group for parents/caregivers of those who have ADHD/ASD. We also welcome anyone who has children who are struggling.About this Event
The support group runs weekly at George Moss Park. If it's poor weather, we will use the Hub.
The way the support group works is:
- this is a chance for you to share your struggles that come with caring for children with neurodiversity.
- in this group, we don't seek to "fix" anyone, or offer unsolicited advice.
- we are mindful to be sure everyone gets a chance to share in the hour provided, and are mindful
- we start and end on time
- we create a safe community for you to find the bravery it takes to parent
- your children are welcome to play in the park as we meet
