This event is an introduction to the condition of Anxiety, OCD & Tic Disorders (e.g. Tourettes Syndrome)
About our Event:
All ADHDers struggle with times of anxiety and compulsive thinking. A third will suffer from an anxiety disorder of some kind. In this talk, we consider how ADHDers experience anxiety, and consider when it becomes a formal disorder, and we also consider the experience of compulsions and tics. As with all of our talks, we provide practical advice for ADHDers and those with the described co-existing conditions, as well as what supports can be implemented.
It is an ideal event for ADHDers (Teen & Adult), parents/guardians, family, teachers & LSA's, and those training for employment roles involving children.
-Our speaker is an inspirational, motivational, and humorous man, with a unique understanding and extensive personal experience living with ADHD, OCD & Tourettes Syndrome;
-Our events are always conducted in small groups, have a personal touch and are very informal;
-Ideal for those who have anxieties over meeting new people or being amongst crowds.
Areas Covered:
-Causes of Anxiety
-Symptoms of Anxiety
-ADHD Symptoms and how they relate to anxiety
-OCD
-Tic Disorders and Tourette's Syndrome
-Sleep Issues and Advice (for ADHD, OCD & TS)
-Q&A Session
Refreshments are provided.

"A number of our teaching staff attended and we were all very appreciative of your honesty and also highly impressed by what you have achieved. The impact it has had on the staff was so great, management have recognised that ALL the staff need training to recognise the difficulties and implement strategies into their classroom in order to provide equal educational opportunities to vulnerable learners."
