West Australian folk-country songwriters Tanya Ransom (Margaret River/Wadandi Boodja) and Adele Oliver (Broome/Djugun Yawuru) are set to embark on a double headline tour this October, performing across New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia.The tour coincides with the release of Ransom’s third solo album The Significance of Time. Helmed by WA producers James Newhouse (The Waifs, John Butler) and Dave Mann, her latest work continues to push the boundaries of contemporary folk, blues, and Americana. Ransom’s music reflects the rugged beauty and emotional depth of her surroundings. Tanya will be joined by Tilly Kay on vocals and Sam Liddon on bass for a special trio performance of the new album at Hybrid Warehouse.
Adele Oliver continues her rise as one of regional WA’s most exciting emerging voices in the country music scene. Grounded in lyrical grit and emotional warmth, Adele’s music is shaped by lived experience and a deep connection to place.
This will be a beautiful heartfelt evening at Hybrid Warehouse, Fremantle on Friday 31st October, showcasing two distinct yet complementary voices that carry the soulful heart of Western Australia’s country music scene.
