Join JAFA's bi-monthly Origami & Calligraphy classes in Adelaide!Suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced, you'll delve into the basics and hone your skills in these two Japanese art forms.
If you've always wanted to try your hand at crafting origami or wielding a brush, or simply want to learn and practice among a friendly and supportive community, come along to our regular classes. All ages welcome!
Your instructors will be Emiko Mayer and Machiko Dunphy.
When: Every first and third Saturday of the month (some exceptions)
Venue: Cowandilla Primary School - 21 Jenkins Street, Cowandilla 5033
Time: 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Fees: $5/session for JAFA members; $10/session for non-members
Fee includes all materials.
Getting to the venue
Cowandilla Primary School is located in Adelaide's western suburbs, around 4km from Adelaide CBD and roughly 2km from Adelaide Airport.
There is plenty of parking available at the school carpark and on the street.
If arriving via public transport, take bus J1 /J1A (bound for Glenelg/Adelaide Airport) from Currie St in the CBD. Alight at bus stop 6 on Sir Donald Bradman Drive and walk 300m to the venue.
