Ordination is a historic church practice where a local church recognizes, confirms, and publicly affirms someone’s calling to ministry. It does not elevate a person above others—it simply means the church has prayerfully discerned that God has gifted this individual for ministry and is setting them apart for service.
In other words, ordination is the church saying: “We see God’s call on your life, we trust your character, we affirm your competency, and we gladly bless the ministry God is doing through you.”
Addison has been part of Canvas since 2021 and has consistently demonstrated a deep love for Jesus, a sincere passion for discipling children, and a proven track record of faithful leadership. We are honored to recognize what God is already doing in her life by ordaining her as a Children’s Minister.
Join us on January 4th as we pray over Addison, celebrate God’s work in her life, and commission her for this important ministry in God’s kingdom.
