Adder Walk at Porthkerry

Join Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Officer Matt Cooke on an adder field survey of Porthkerry. The survey will involve a 60 minute walk that covers known adder hibernacula, prime adder habitat, and reptile refugia, for a fantastic opportunity to hopefully spot these elusive, but beautiful snakes up close. Matt will also be giving tips on adder ecology, survey techniques and answering any questions you may have on adders during the event.

This walk would not be suitable for small children and suitable footwear would be needed (wellies/boots).

This event is part of the Vale Nature Festival at Porthkerry Park.
