It's here and we can't wait!! Mark your calendars to come join our teams from Brave the Wave, Malibu Boats,Tommy's Boats, POA Orlando and Freedom Wake Park on September 25 at Freedom Wake Park for a day filled with wakesurfing!
This event was created to encompass individuals with a range of physical disabilities ( such as amputees, parapylegic, etc.). All ages and levels are welcome from first time wakesurfers to experts! Our team will provide all necessary equipment needed for participation. There will be professional wakesurf instructors on each boat to help all adaptive participants achieve their goals of the day! Join us for a memorable day on the water, where you can try something new, enhance your skills, and connect with your local adaptive community!
Come learn how to wakesurf from multiples professional wakesurfers, including adaptive wakesurfer Lexi Youngberg! When Lexi was 16 she lost her leg from a boating accident, but has never lost her love for water sports. Lexi is a below-knee amputee herself and passionate about sharing her love of wakesurfing with others who have a range of physical disabilities.

EVENT WILL INCLUDE:
- Learn the fundamentals of wakesurfing, or advance your skills.
- Exercises to improve balance & stability on a surfboard.
PROFESSIONALS ON-HAND WILL INCLUDE:
- Professional Water Sports Instructors
- Professional Water Sports Athletes
Registration is required for individuals with physical disabilities participating in the clinic. Family and friends coming to participant in lunch will need to register. Lunch is provided for anyone attending with proper social distancing guide lines! All participants will be required to sign a waiver before getting onto a boat. If the participant is under 18, a legal guardian or parent must be present to ride on the boat and sign the waiver.
HEALTH PRECAUTIONS:
At each stop, we will be conforming to all CDC recommended guideline and local regulations at the event.
Our teams are closely monitoring as communities are re-opening and the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to slow and will follow the guidelines laid out by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
