The Greensboro Parks and Recreation’s Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (AIR) program is partnering with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Department of Community and Therapeutic Recreation to host the Adaptive Sports Expo — a fun, inclusive, and inspiring event celebrating adaptive sports and recreation opportunities in the Greensboro community.The event will include, adaptive rock climbing, adaptive mountain biking, seated volleyball, goal ball, bocce ball, wheelchair tennis, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, and adaptive sports and support resource vendors.
This annual event brings together organizations, programs, and community partners to showcase the diverse world of adaptive sports and recreation. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local vendors, try adaptive equipment, and experience how recreation can be made accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
