About this Event
A trail that may look flat and easy to some may offer unforeseen challenges to those in a wheelchair. Come experience the trail from a different perspective on Saturday, October 19 for an Adaptive Bike Ride at Davidson Mesa Open Space in Louisville. You will have the opportunity to test adaptive hand cycles and learn about technologies that allow all abilities to get outside and enjoy nature. Whether you have a disability, know someone who does, or just curious about adaptive cycling, everyone's welcome! Hosted by Open Space Staff and Topher Downham, a lifelong outdoors enthusiast, who faced a life-changing accident 28 years ago that left him paralyzed.
Appropriate for ages 12+
