Course description: This 2 day course is designed for massage therapists who want to expand their skills in the use of massage therapy, enabling them to work safely and effectively with clients with cancer and/or other complex/life-threatening conditions.

We will explore creative ways of adapting massage whilst providing an understanding of the rationale for those adaptations. You will learn how to work with clients at all stages of their cancer journey and in a variety of different environments. We take a zero-strain approach that will allow you to build your confidence working with and without oil.

Prerequisite: Level 3 Massage Therapy diploma or equivalent and one year’s therapeutic practice.
