The night’s theme is transitioning and how it affects us whether we are from the military, emergency The theme of the evening is "Transitioning" and its impact on individuals from various fields, including the military, emergency services, sports, and other careers that are often misunderstood by the general public. This event is proudly organized by the Bega RSL Sub-Branch and will be hosted by local publican Mitch Creary, a former Manly NRL player.
Join us for a hearty meal as we hear inspiring stories from former professional NRL players Paul Gallen, Luke Lewis, Shaun Timmins, and Jeremy Latimore. They will share the challenges they faced while transitioning from their sports careers to civilian life, discussing how they had to adapt and overcome obstacles both professionally and personally within their families and communities.
There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions during a Q&A session, along with various representatives from RSL advocates and the RU OK team, who will be available to chat and provide additional information.
