Join us for this point to point hike, the next in our Pennsylvania Highlands series, this time featuring mostly only the Horse-Shoe Trail between Denver and areas east.
From where we left off previously, we'll continue on the route to the east over the Furnace Hills. We'll often be on woodsy foot path, but the route also includes lots of pleasant back roads, utility clearings, woods roads, and more! Sure to be a pleasant time!
The hike is almost a loop with a short car shuttle at the start. Aside from the main trail, the remainder of the hike features walking through a cemetery, grassy municipal parks, smaller trails, and back roads.
