Grammy® nominated pianist Adam Johnson continues to sell out concert halls throughout the UK and in Europe with his incomparable style and virtuosity.Described by BBC Radio as “Cinematic”, Classic FM as “A fine pianist” and by Sir Jonathan Pryce CBE in the Daily Telegraph as “A Revelation”, Adam Johnson dazzles audiences across the world with his exceptional range of virtuosic piano repertoire.
His recent prize-winning album Savage Piano was recorded in the legendary Abbey Rd Studio 2, and was further praised by Elaine Paige OBE as “Beautiful, I loved it” (2024).
Since making his Concerto debut aged 17 playing a Mozart Piano Concerto in Pavlovsk Place St. Petersburg, he has performed with some of the finest orchestras including the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, working under the baton of Stephen Bell, Stephan Zilias, Stuart Stratford, Nicholas Cleobury, and film composer Benjamin Wallfisch.He is the Composer in Residence of Eliot Smith Dance Company in the North of England, and he has been instrumental in the commission of new works by Edward Gregson, Stephen Barlow, and War Horsecomposer Adrian Sutton.Adam Johnson is honoured to work closely with Macmillan Cancer Support as the Artistic Director for their annual Christmas Carol Concert in Central London which aims to raise funds for Cancer support and staff.He is proud to hold Freedom of the City of London, and is an elected Member of the Royal Society of Musicians.
