Reception: 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 10 Adam Gilliland is a southeastern Arizona native and has been making art in Tucson for the past 22 years. He is a graduate of Pima Community College with a degree in Fine Arts. Gilliland is a musician, husband and father. He created these drawings during the Covid-19 pandemic. “I created these pieces to cope with feelings of extreme isolation and anger, “ he says. “I wanted the images to convey the warmth of intimacy and the power of touch. Visually, my goal was to remind myself of the beauty that exists within humanity.”.
