The Mission behind the Adam Day

“Mankind were but one community; then they differed.” - The Qur’an 10:19

Adam Day was started in Manchester back in 2003. Main purpose of Adam Day is to remind mankind that each human being whether he be a Hindu, Muslim, of Jewish faith, Christian or a follower of any other religion, a believer in God or a non-believer is an Adamite – a son or daughter of Adam and Eve.

The purpose of the Adam Day is to deliver the message that all children of Adam and Eve are brothers and sisters irrespective of their nationalities and geographical locations. And as such, we should all adhere to the belief in One God and follow the teachings of the heavenly scriptures; and we ought to work together to create a peaceful environment on earth for mankind to live in, not shower fire on fellow beings. If we are successful in this then we can expect God to shower his blessings upon us.

The Adam Day is the concept of Azeemia Sufi Order, which teaches us that being the descendants of Adam and Eve, we are all brothers and sisters. Our skin colours may be different, and we may belong to different religions & cultures but that need not make us hate and hurt each other. We all have the same inherent potential to know our own reality and through it develop true realisation of God.

The human beings living in the 21st century have to face many difficult issues despite great progress made in science and technology. In particular, terrorism, unrest, diseases, shortage of food, and environmental issues are a great concern. In many African and Asian countries poverty is common. Hardships are encountered in spreading education. Due to food shortages people are suffering from various problems. Diseases are spreading not only in the developing countries but are also spreading rapidly in America and Europe as well as other developed countries. These diseases include ailments of the heart, depression, cancer and physiological issues in elders as well as the children. Environmental issues have not only caused problems in health and earning live but have also put the future of the land in danger. In regards to material aspects, mankind is worried and anxious and as a result he has to encounter various spiritual and health issues.

Al human beings are the children of the one Father and Mother, Adam and Eve. In order to find solutions to depression, spiritual issues and physical issues and to progress socially and spiritually, all of Adam’s children will have to work together. The basis of this effort should be respect for all human beings and love between individuals and nations. It is the resposibility of human beings to rectify the situation on Earth and sustain peace everywhere.

The creation of each human being came about through love. Love is the excellence of human beings. The power of love can bring salvation and prosperity for all of mankind as well as the rest of God’s creation.

The great sufi poet Rumi said:

Mankind reaches its utmost heights only through the excellence of love. And if one does not possess this one excellence then all other excellences are harmful.

The Adam Day takes place annually in London & Manchester (UK), Mississauga (Canada) & New York and San Francisco (USA). Dignitaries from the local community participate and share vision of diversity and inclusiveness.Look forward to seeing you in this event in Mississauga Canada.

The Azeemia Sufi Order (Silsila-e-Azeemia) is named after its founder, Hassan Ukhra

Sayyed Muhammad Azeem Burkhiya commonly known as Qalandar Baba Auliya. It was

established in July 1960 at Karachi Pakistan.Qalandar Baba Auliya’s life history can be

studied in more detail in his biography “Tazkira-e-Qalandar Baba Auliya”.

The present head of Azeemia Sufi Order (Khanwàda of Silsila-e-Azeemia) is the Grand

Sufi Shiek (Master) Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi. He was born on 17th October 1927 in

Qasba-e-Pirzaàdgan in the district of Sahàrunpur, (UP) India. He lived with and served

his spiritual master Hazoor Qalandar Baba Auliya for sixteen years until Hazoor

Qalandar Baba Auliya departed this physical world. During this companionship, Hazoor

Qalandar Baba Auliya prepared his able student, both at conscious and subconscious

levels, to enable transference of his spiritual knowledge to him.

As a result, the Azeemia Sufi Order is now a well-known and well-respected Spiritual

institution across the globe.

One thing that stands out in Sufi Sheikh Khawàja Shamsuddin Azeemi's teachings is the

way he tries to arouse feelings of love for GOD in people’s hearts. He has unveiled the

mysteries surrounding the spiritual knowledge and taken it out of an unrealistic and

concocted traditional image and introduced and taught it as a science to the satisfaction

of the modern scientific mind.

There are Azeemia Centres (Muraqba Halls) throughout the world working under his

patronage, to promote and spread spiritual knowledge and to serve humanity by offering

solutions to their physical, mental, marital and social problems. In the United Kingdom,

London, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, Bradford, Leicester, Nelson, Rochdale and

Oldham are the cities where Azeemia Centres (Muraqba Halls) are established.

Mr Azeemi is also the Chief Editor of Roohani Digest International and Qalandar Shaoor

Monthly. He has been writing columns for various newspapers and magazines for over

forty years, which cover a variety of spiritual subjects. Nearly two million people have

benefited from the advice and solutions he offered to their social, financial, psychological

and health problems. He has answered questions on paranormal manifestations and

spiritual phenomena to the satisfaction of curious minds.

He has authored about eighty books and more than sixty booklets on metaphysical

science, some of which have been translated into English, Sindhi, Arabic, Persian,

Pashto, and Russian languages. In his latest book,

He has also written a commentary on Hazoor Qalandar Baba’s spiritual science book

Loh-o-Qalam. Light & Colour Therapy is another field he has introduced in Pakistan and

abroad in his unique scientific style. His book on the subject presents this healing

method from theory to practice and includes useful practical advice based on his

decades of experience in this field.His books are taught not only in the Qalandar

Conscious Academy but also in a number of colleges and universities in Pakistan and

abroad.

An extremely tiny and lifeless being, also known as the Coronavirus, has greatly affected the social and economic lives of more than 7 billion people in the current highly advanced 21st century.

People are worried about how this worldwide epidemic caused by the Coronavirus can be controlled.

All of the children of Adam and Eve, every man and woman, has to play their part for the prosperity and continuance of the people and animals inhabited on the earth, and for the protection and improvement of the environment. This earth was entrusted to the very first man, Adam (pbuh) and his wife Eve (pbuh).

The earth provides resources enabling the people and creatures living upon it to survive. The earth provides an abode, food and drink, all of things to fulfil the necessities of the creations. The earth is a means of providing many different resources for the creations. The earth has certain rights over the people. According to this system of rights and obligations, it is obligatory upon man to fulfil these rights and to continue making sure that arrangements are made for this. Mankind is facing many problems and difficulties including poverty, illnesses, illiteracy, the oppression of the weak by the powerful, injustice towards women by men. Now Coronavirus has put another trial upon mankind.

It is necessary that while the children of Adam are living upon the earth, they should try to understand the will of Allah, the Lord and the Creator. Everyone should try to be a means of goodness for others.

No one has superiority over anyone else based on skin colour, ethnicity, language or wealth. All human beings have equal rights. Prophet of Islam Muhammad (pbuh) in the year 10 AH, at the time of the Hajj pilgrimage, in his final sermon said:

An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, and a white has superiority over a black. The only superiority in the eyes of Allah is in piety.

This event of Adam Day which has been organised by Silsila Azeemia, is to remind people that we are all the children of Adam, every single one of us must respect and protect others’ rights.

Allah has created all of the human beings and all of the creatures in the universe. Allah is the Lord and Creator of every single thing in the universe. For the pleasure of our Creator we should take care of all of the creatures and try to be a means of blessings for all.
