Critically acclaimed troubador from Texas, a true 'songwriter's songwriter' and his fabulously talented wife Chris are making their High Cotton debut!
Note to all of music lovers:
While there are undeniably sooo many talented artists out there, there is a short list of songwriters who are my absolute favorites, whose music never fails to get my attention, warm my heart and speak to my soul. And Adam Carroll is on that list. His laconic, understated approach to songwriting takes stories about events of ordinary lives and turns them into deeply moving, often humorous songs. It's been said that he "paints vignettes in the simplest terms while making them sound like he's filming in Technicolor", and I agree. His heartfelt style makes every song feel familiar, even when hearing it for the first time. Like a good book, they just feel like home.
While the Carrolls have been in Hartwell twice before, this will be their first visit to High Cotton Music Hall. I can't wait for them to experience the magic of our room... I hope all of High Cotton's music lovers and the Carroll fans from their previous Crump Road visits will join us!!
