Ad Lucem invites you to join us for our 13th Annual Christmas Concert and Carol Sing!Saturday, December 21st, 1pm

Our ensemble, Ad Lucem (Latin meaning "toward the light"), began the tradition of presenting this concert and carol sing, at Saint Paul's, Christmas of 2012. Our audience will be invited to sing favorite traditional carols with us, interspersed between both old favorites and less known but beautiful Christmas songs featuring a mix of individual soloists, duets or the entire ensemble, in addition to related scripture readings.
This year's event will feature...
Karen Martin (piano), Julie Tourtellotte (soprano/alto), Laura Yeates (alto/tenor) Alison Seeber (soprano/alto), Kelly Tourtellotte (soprano/alto), John Seeber (tenor/baritone), Andrew Seeber (vocal bass, guitar), Randy Fischer (vocal tenor, bass guitar & tambourine), Michelle Golan (soprano), Rachel Rowden (alto), Amy Wiggins (folk harp & fiddle), Stephanie Russel (flute), a flute ensemble & a small children's ensemble, directed by Julie Tourtellotte.
+Additional musicians for carols: Myrna Keough (organ), Benjamin Seeber (baritone)
Many of our original veteran musicians continue to join forces with our newer musicians, giving an exquisite spectrum of sound, which promises to be a beautiful and moving experience of the season, in preparation for the coming of Jesus Christ into our world and our hearts... the celebration of Christmas! We are delighted to include songs by our local composer friends, one by Christopher Wicks and one by Myrna Keough, as well as music by Felix Mendelssohn, Brad Croushorn, Pepper Choplin, Mansel Thomas, Ron Jeffers and more!
Admission is free but donations are gratefully accepted!
(In addition to the live performance, we plan to provide a live stream of our performance, here on this Facebook event, especially since there are many who live too far away to attend in person. Stay tuned for details!)
