Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Know that all receiving this invitation have demonstrated world-class seasoned judgement, as demonstrated by moving into the Acuera community and in the friendships they’ve built.
As such, please consider this your official invitation into this prestigious society. We ask for your participation and commitment.
In this season of celebration, we proclaim this to be the 1st Annual Acuera Beer Exchange! Organized by Michael Grinnon with the support of Ryan Cipparone, Joe Schofield, and Carl O'Neil.
The Start of Something Very Special!
We will invite a group of up to 27 Acuera members.
If you accept this challenge, you will be assigned a number from 1-27 (or up to as many as sign up).
Every person is responsible for purchasing 27 (or as many as sign up) of the same craft beer.
On your assigned day you are responsible for delivering 1 can to each other member’s home and an optional note describing what your selected beer is and why you chose it (please no names, we do not want to bias ratings).
The individual assigned day #1 will deliver the first beer on or near November 29th (dependent on the number of participants) and this exchange will last for as long as December 24th.
At the close of the exchange you will vote on your favorite beer and we will have a post exchange get together at Michael Grinnon's house to crown our Acuera Beer Exchange Champion on January 3rd!
Participating Rules & Resources:
No one will vote for themselves.
It is against the rules to "dress up" your beer with any kind of decoration or bribe, beer only please!
You’ll be provided a tracking sheet on Day #1 to keep track of all beers received.
The member with the most # of votes in favor of their beer will win bragging rights for the upcoming year!
