Remember back in the day, when we used to meet in person once a month? Usually at Jil's house, then at various places around the Triangle.Well, we're starting that back up. Maybe not monthly, but we'll see. The time - July 14, from 1:30 to 5:30. The place - Moon Dog Meadery in Durham.
So bring a synth or two if you wanna, or just come and hang out. I'm gonna keep things loose this time, as this will be more of a getting-reacquainted-with-each-other affair. We can jam if any would like to. I'll bring MIDI stuff to set up a common clock thing.
Moon Dog Meadery is a cool place with a great vibe. They've got a PA, they've got tables. They've got mead and beer. They don't mind if you bring in food. There's also a few places to eat on the same block, including the absolutely SLAMMIN' Sho Nuff fish shack.
They have an open mic event there, which I think starts at 7. If you're so inclined, you could hang around and sign up for that.
The front entrance, on Broad St., is downstairs. If you don't want to carry gear down the stairs, there's a ground level entrance around back. You can get to that via the parking lot next to Sho Nuff (I think), or go around the corner to Englewood Ave and use that entrance.
