The very first Actor’s Gym ‘session’ will be held at The Norwich Puppet Theatre on the 16th of April between 18:30 and 20:30pm . Actors Gym is a meet up where out of work professional or amateur actors can come and flex their acting muscles working on pieces of their own choice in order to develop and keep their skills fresh. It is designed for those who would perhaps like to do some community theatre but cannot commit the time needed due to potential professional commitments . It is also for amateur actors who want to grow their skills and work on roles that they want to perform instead of the roles being offered at that time in community circles or who have been unsuccessful in recent auditions for instance. With a desire to perform, learn and have the opportunity to work with fellow actors, as well as giving each other feedback and advice on any recent or upcoming auditions/self-tapes etc.
