The Friends of York Cemetery are taking part in a worldwide event, and you can be part of it.From the humblest woodlice to the most ancient Ginko Biloba, York Cemetery is home to an almost immeasurable variety of flora and fauna. On Sunday 28 April, join residents in 450+ cities across the world in an epic, global mission to record as much wildlife as possible.
To take part you'll need a fully charged smartphone, capable of taking and sharing pictures.
The project will use the iNaturalist app. You can download the app yourself, or share your pictures with us and we will do that part. We will share how it works, and more information about the project over the coming ten days.
