About this Event

The Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES) is pleased to invite you to the “Activating Resilience Hubs in the North Front Range" workshop and happy hour on Thursday, November 14, 2024. This collaborative event will familiarize participants with the regionally tailored implementation toolkit to advance wildfire and heat-ready resilience hubs. Discussions will gather input on the toolkit rollout, build awareness of the opportunities uncovered in the toolkit, and identify next steps for the implementation of these solutions. An ice cream social and happy hour will follow to celebrate the collective progress this group has made to advance regional strategies and resource opportunities.

The workshop will take place at the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center from 1:00– 4:00pm in the Crown Room. Arrival and refreshments will begin at 12:30pm. Participants are invited to an ice cream social and happy hour beginning at 4:00pm. There is no cost to attend, however space is limited for this invitation-only event, so please register at your earliest convenience to ensure your seat.

This is the third and final event of a 3-part collaborative series to inform, connect, and empower key stakeholders that can lead or facilitate resilience hubs and microgrids to serve communities and vulnerable neighborhoods across the region. Resilience hubs and microgrids were one of the 7 key action areas that local stakeholders identified in our ongoing Climate Resilient Communities Accelerator that launched in 2023 to coordinate and accelerate public, private, and community action on wildfire and heat resilience in the North Front Range, a region spanning Fort Collins to Denver.

Speakers and a final agenda will be announced closer to the event.
