About this Event

Rose Bruford's Theatre & Social Change BA (Hons) and Contemporary & Popular Performance (BA) Hons invite you to join us at Tramshed on Thursday 11 December for Activating Change: Open Talks - an evening of inspiring conversation with Guest Artist Josie Dale-Jones

Josie Dale-Jones is a theatre maker and producer. Josie mostly works under ThisEgg where she self-produces and co-creates shows with a variety of artistic collaborators. ThisEgg’s most recent show, A Little Inquest Into What We Are All Doing Here won a Scotsman Fringe First Award 2024. Theatre Royal Bath appointed Josie a 2019 Leverhulme Arts Scholar. She was nominated as a finalist for the Arts Foundation Theatre-Makers Award 2021. Outside of ThisEgg Josie has worked as a producer for Stratford East and for companies including Complicité, Gecko and tiata fahodzi. Most recently, Josie opened her third show as a director at Junges Ensemble Stuttgart, Germany.

Together we will consider the many ways change might be enacted in our communities and in wider society - creating a shared understanding of the goals we have and the strategies we might use to get there. These (free but ticketed) talks are for the students on our course as well as across different courses at Rose Bruford College and are also open to the wider public.
