This is a full-body nervous system journey designed to help you unwind, soften, and reconnect!
About this Event

Join us for Pilates & Somatic Release!

A 3-hour nervous system reset to help you melt holiday stress and come home to your body.

Join us for a full-body experience designed to shift you out of fight-or-flight and into deep calm.

We’ll begin with a warm Pilates flow that builds heat, strength, and circulation, helping your body release tension and stuck energy.

From there, you’ll move into slow somatic + fascial release work to soften the places where stress hides: hips, ribs, psoas, and shoulders. This phase gently unwinds your system so your breath can drop in more easily.

Once the body is open, you’ll settle into relaxing breathwork to quiet the mind and signal safety to your nervous system. We’ll close with a long, immersive sound bowl journey to guide you into a state of deep rest, emotional release, and inner stillness.

You’ll leave feeling lighter, more grounded, clear and deeply reset exactly what your system needs before the holiday rush.

Perfect for: anyone carrying stress, overwhelm, burnout, emotional heaviness, or who simply wants to reconnect with their body and feel calm again. No Pilates or breathwork experience needed.

Agenda

🕑: 01:30 PM - 02:30 PM
Activate with Pilates
Host: Lana Arkell

Info: We start by bringing heat into your body, waking up your core, legs, and the muscles that tend to store the most stress. This isn’t slow or gentle; it’s purposeful activation.
When you build just the right amount of effort and fatigue, your body naturally starts to let go of the tension it’s been holding. When your body is carrying stress, it often stays stuck in a “braced” state ( tight shoulders, clenched core, overactive back)
This sequence warms and strengthens those areas just enough to release that grip.

By creating a little intentional fatigue, your body can finally downshift.
Your muscles soften, your mind quiets, and resting becomes natural instead of forced. This prepares your whole system to settle deeply into the sound bowl and somatic release portion of the class.

It’s the perfect blend of activation → softening → reset.

🕑: 02:30 PM - 03:00 PM
Regulate with Somatic Movements
Host: Lana Arkell

Info: Before we settle into the sound bowls, we guide your body through gentle somatic movement to help you loosen what’s been stuck. Most people carry stress in their tissues without realizing it, such as tight hips, clenched jaw, braced shoulders, and shallow breaths.

If you go straight into stillness while your body is tense, your system can’t fully relax.

Somatic movement creates the “bridge” your nervous system needs.
These small, intentional exercises help your body melt out of stress mode, release built-up tension, and shift into a calmer state. So when the sound bowls begin, your whole system is already softened, open, and ready to receive the deeper release.

It’s the preparation your body needs to truly let go.

🕑: 03:00 PM - 04:30 PM
Release with Sound Bowls
Host: Therese Laforge

Info: Terez came to bowls in 1992 and has 37 bowls in my sound shelves at this point, specializes in sound-based healing sessions designed to release tension, stress, and stored emotional energy. Each session takes place while you rest comfortably, allowing the body to downshift, regulate the nervous system, and return to a state of calm and flow.

Using harmonic sound, guided intention, and gentle energetic facilitation, her work helps clients let go of stress, process emotion, and reconnect with their natural rhythm. The experience supports both emotional and energetic detox, while also encouraging clarity, creativity, and deeper self-awareness.

Her sessions also include intention setting and grounding practices, helping participants move forward with focus, emotional lightness, and a renewed sense of connection to themselves.
