The Action On The Side one-month project is BACK! and this is our first time running the project in Sheffield
Make a short film across four weekends: Pitch | Preproduction | Production | Post Production | Screening
- Weekend 1 (October 5/6) is the Pitch & Preproduction
- Weekend 2 (October 12/13) is Production
- Weekend 3 (October 19/20) is Post Production
- Weekend 4 (October 26 or 27) is the Screening
Making a film is hard. We make it easier. Join a group of filmmakers to make a short film in just one month. Your registration fee covers the budget for the film. Work with a range of filmmakers, beginners and experienced, professionals, hobbyists, and students. You can pitch your own film idea to get it made. Develop your filmmaking skills with workshops and on-set experiences. Meet new collaborators and join our community.
You don't have to commit to the full month - at a minimum, the preproduction weekend (where we pitch, select the film, and allocate crew roles) and the production weekend (when we shoot) are the most important.
