ACTION’s 21 yrs. serving the Community, we will celebrate by having our 19thAnnual Banquet fundraiser, at the Byzantine at the Grove 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44502. We are excited to have Mrs. Shelia Triplett, CEO of MYCAP as our guest speaker. The theme of the banquet is “ACTION Transforming Communities together”

We will be honoring several extraordinary Community Partners in memory of Frances Kerpsack

a Community Advocate. Pastor Kenneth Simon, Pastor New Bethel Baptist Church, Dr. Thomas Sauline, Director of Mahoning Valley Association of Churches, Sharon Letson, Director of City Scape, and Brandon Perry, Director of Kids Care.


Also this year we have added the Pathfinders Awards:

Path Finder: A person who is among those who first enter or settle a region, thus opening it for occupation and development by others. A person, group, or thing that is first or among the earliest in any field of inquiry, enterprise, or development:


Anita as one of the first African American female policewomen, you have led so many people to understand life, the pursuit of justice and what it takes to be tops in your field.
Been able to open up the understanding of relationship between our community and
the police that serve us.


Rev. Jim Ray leader in the community who has led so many people to understand the pursuit of justice and his commitment to raising awareness and seeking solutions to overcome racism and social injustice.
