
Objective:
To introduce participants to the fundamentals of acting, focusing on the interplay between imagination and memory. Tapping on personal experiences, to understand, can if personal memory is at all important for an actor. If yes, then why do we need to cater to imagination.
This workshop will provide an overview of the acting process, with a specific focus on the dynamic relationship between imagination and memory. Participants will engage in exercises, to help them understand and apply this concept in their acting practice.

Ajeet Singh Palawat
Graduated from the National School of Drama in 2010 with a specialization in acting. Working with veteran directors like K.N.Panikker, Anuradha Kapur, Robin Das, Mohit Takalkar, Abhishek Majumdar, Roysten Able, he is recognized for his work in Virasat, Comrade Kumbhakarna, Edward 2, Mai hun Yusuf aur ye hai mera bhaai, Gajab Kahani, Makardhwajan (Malayalam).
Recipient of META 2016 BEST ACTOR (critic citation) and VINOD DOSHI FELLOWSHIP, his performances in Criminal Justice & Singham 2 has been talk of the town.
Ipshita Chakraborty Singh
Ipshita graduated from National School of Drama and worked as a professional actor in NSD repertory company for 5 years. With more than 35 plays in her quiver, her major works include Virasat, Main Hun Yusuf Aur Ye Hai Mera Bhai, Mathemagician, Bandish 20-20000hz, Monsoon Wedding -the musical and many more.
A recipient of Tendulkar-Dubey fellowship, Manohar Singh Smriti Puraskar and Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar, she is also known for her portrayals in films such as Bhonsle and Sector 36
