Act II Players is proud to kick off our upcoming workshop series with ACTING TECHNIQUES with IZZY HAGUE! Join one of the best, Izzy Hague for 6 sessions that will bring out your best and have you prepared for the stage. Experienced and new to the stage are both welcome! Participants will be doing scenes and monologues with topics including:
• Motivation and meaning
• Non-verbal expression
• Acting between lines
• Pacing Power of pausing
• Pronunciation and articulation
• Cold reading
• Word emphasis
• Accents
• Contrasting monologues
• Reacting to partners
At the end of the 6-week session participants will have contrasting monologues to put in their audition book.
This series is for ages 12 and up runs 6 consecutive Sundays beginning July 11. All classes are 2PM - 5PM. This series costs $250.
