TO ACCELERATE YOUR LITERARY CAREER?
TO BUILD A PROFITABLE BOOK BUSINESS OR PUBLISHING COMPANY?
TO MAKE A LIVING AS A WRITER/AUTHOR/PUBLISHER?
If so, then register for the 7th Annual ACT LIKE AN AUTHOR, THINK LIKE A BUSINESS CONFERENCE with the theme: "Make a Living as a Writer."
Because that is definitley the results you are going to get!!!
What makes the ALAATLAB annual conference different from any other conferences for writers & authors?
It's not a writing conference but, instead, a conference to teach you what to do with your writings, such as make money with them.
We’re not geared toward just self-published and indie authors, or any single genre of writers and authors. Our curriculum applies to any writer and author regardless of which path to publishing they choose or what genre they write.
And if you are a publisher, you should attend the conference to learn out of the box and innovative ways your authors can bring success to their book, themselves, and you, their publisher. Better yet, invest in sending your authors to the conference.
Typically a three-day conference held in Las Vegas, Nevada, this year we're doing a one-day conference in Columbus, Ohio, which is the hometown of the main conference instructor, Joylynn M. Ross, who has written over 40 books and publications under various names (Joylynn M. Jossel, JOY, E. N. Joy, Joylynn M. Ross, and N. Joy) in multiple genres.
The usual Day 1 teachings & curriculum, "Beyond the Basics of Publishing," has been pre-recorded and can be purchased in the Path To Publishing online conference store at www.pathtopublishing.com/conferencestore
The usual Day 2 teachings & curriculum, "Build Your Book Business," has been pre-recorded as well and can also be purchased in the Path To Publishing online conference store at www.pathtopublishing.com/conferencestore
Day 3, though, "Make a Living as a Writer," will be taught live and in person in Columbus, Ohio.
We have a saying at Path To Publishing: Don't wait for your book to get ready, get ready for your book. So, whether you are a writer/author/publisher with one or many books/publications published, or aspiring with the thought, idea, or concept still in your head or on paper, this conference is for you.
We don’t fill the conference space with vendors, presenters, sessions, and workshops with service providers whose ultimate goals it to get attendees to purchase their services and products. We’re all about attendees investing in themselves, in their books, and their book business.
This is NOT a networking event. At the Act Like an Author, Think Like a Business Conference, we do more than network. We create and build genuine relationships, partnerships, connections, collaborations, and even friendships. When Pathfinders show up, we know we are not just another attendee at a function, we are family. We find ways to NOT compete with one another, but to complement one another in our various endeavors based upon our individual lane of genius and skills. You befriend a #Pathfinder, and you have someone who is going to support you for life!
I n other words: This is a conference and a Mastermind all rolled into one.
Regardless if you're traditionally published, self-published or have an agent, your book is YOUR business. And a business can't stay in business if it's not bringing in the revenue to sustain, scale, and grow it.
Even if your book sales are already doing well, why pass up the opportunity to be equipped and empowered with ways to make them even better? In other words, what millionaire wouldn't desire another million.
Instead of going to a literary conference, fair, or festival geared for the reader experience - where you might sell a book or two short-term - come to one focused on teaching you how to control your long-term earning goals.
What information is being provided at this year's one-day conference?
For any serious author/publisher or writer who is ready to take their literary business/career to the next level . . .
If you're ready to generate multiple stream of cohesive literary income as an author/publisher or writer to keep your business thriving, then you definitely don’t want to miss this conference.
At this one-day conference you will learn:
-How to turn your book/writing into a business (earning money) and not a hobby (only spending money)
-How to make money beyond book sales and royalties
-How to get other people to pay for your business endeavors
-How to secure paid writing gigs
-How to get grants and sponsors
-Professional titles you wear besides “author/publisher/writer”
-How to increase book sales without directly selling books
-How to make money from content you write outside of books
Please Note: The information, tools, resources, teachings and instructions will be based on a presentation slide deck, aka the conference curriculum. To avoid having to take a notebook full of notes, it is recommended that you purchase the hardcopy version of the curriculum and follow along during the instruction. Not all past conference attendees purchased the hardcopy currriculum in advance, so it's not required in order for you to receive the benefits, values, and transformation this conference offers. 100% of past conference attendees who did, though, agreed that having the hardcopy curriculum made a world of difference.
Why?
Because even if they tried , they couldn't capture every single thing that was shared by the instructor . . . and they wanted every single thing. It was that valuable. Knowing that the meat of every resource the instructor shared was in their curriculum, they could focus on taking notes on only the additional gems and jewels the indstructor shared in her adlib and storytelling.
There is no gurantee the curriculum will be available onsite, so it's recommended that you purchase the curriculum in advance at www.pathtopublishing.com/conferencestore.com.
