ACSA is excited to bring delegates together once more in Cairns in June 2025. We offer a welcoming and collaborative educational experience for ACSA members and anyone interested in the benefits and impacts of Clinical Supervision in your work environment.
Clinical Supervision is a proven key practice for supporting the mental health of all workers in all disciplines. For workers to thrive and contribute meaningfully in there roles, Clinical Supervision is proven to be an effective practice that prevents burnout.

ACSA 2025 ‘Celebrating the Momentum’ will focus on the impacts created by Clinical Supervision across a broad range of industries, and provide pathways for the use of this essential practice. The conference aims to provide:
- An opportunity to showcase the passion and energy currently in Clinical Supervision in Australia.
- Showcase the various Clinical Supervision frameworks across Australia and talk with their key contributors
- Explore the achievements and learnings there are to share in Clinical Supervision
- Discuss the current state of play in research in Clinical Supervision.
- Demonstrate and explore how we engage a growing interest from a wide variety of disciplines and the experience of people in private practice
- Harness the momentum and influence of Clinical Supervision moving forward
Come and join us in the warm tropics for a celebration of clinical supervision and take home some energy to continue the momentum.

Target Audience:
In order to attract delegates and presenters to the conference, we aim to deliver the current state of play in all facets of Clinical Supervision. Much has been achieved in implementing Clinical Supervision Programs with the conference providing a platform to share experience, key learnings and outcomes. Research, lived experience of Clinical Supervision and Private Practice are all contemporary themes of interest to potential delegates.
We encourage submissions from authors in any practice area that currently utilises, or is working towards the use of Clinical Supervision as part of safe practice standards.
The target audience includes:
- All health professionals
- Mental health nurses working in clinical, educational, leadership and research areas
- Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses
- Allied Health Clinicians working in health, education, corrections, leadership and research areas
- Key stakeholders in the Clinical Supervision sphere including policy makers and influential leaders in the development of frameworks and implementation of projects
- First Responders and Emergency Services including police, ambulance, fire services
- Members of the religious community
- Education professionals including teachers, wellbeing officers and leadership
- People supporting staff in aged care and NDIS
