Color Value Study for all levels: beginners to advanced. 3-hour session (1-4pm)
Acrylics in Practice is one way for you to add to your artistic skill for painting landscapes. We do florals and abstracts, but more often we paint the landscape. We live in such beautiful surroundings which inspire me to create works of art always including nature: trees, forests, mountains, lakes or rivers, etc.
This session is to learn more about color values by painting a mountain landscape with body of water reflections. The event image is our starting point. Once we achieve the variations in our color of choice, we can then add as much or as little detail as we wish using your tool of choice: brushes or palette knives or credit cards or q-tips, etc.
(Becca provides inspiration by using photos she gathers from internet resources. Typically they represent our area, aka: Blue Ridge Mountains.)
$60, Class fee when you bring all your own supplies.
