Acrylic Pen Turning

This class is for those who have already taken carbide turning classes in the past. Also, please note that this class is for students who can be patient and move slowly through the workpiece. Acrylic has a tendency to explode and crack when too much force is applies, and it can happen easily with inexperienced turners. If you check these boxes, then please come and learn acrylic turning basics as you use a wood lathe to turn a custom acrylic pen body for a pen hardware kit. Each attendee will make and take home with their own custom acrylic pen. $75 fee includes pen hardware kit and wood blank for the pen body.
