Fiery Flamingo - In this workshop we explore a close up of feathers in an impressionistic way. We apply easy background effects as well as feathering techniques made easy, working froma clear close up photograph.
What you need to bring:
-Canvas 10' x 12',
-your usual painting gear
-easel and gladwrap.
Brushes required:
-Taklon brushes - 1/2" flat, 1/2' & 1/4" filbert rake or filbert comb (a normal filbert brush won’t work),
-0 liner,
-1/4" flat,
-1/2" dagger brush.
Acrylic Paints (Donna uses Matisse Structure Paints) -
-Antique White
-Mars Violet
-Aust Blue Gum
-Paynes Grey
-Aust Salmon Gum
-Van Dyke Brown
-Cadmium Red
-Skin Tone Deep
-Cadmium Yellow Medium
-Naples Yellow Light
