This is a multi-session class designed to allow the student experience in techniques and methods of creating abstract paintings for themselves. I will give you the benefit of my years painting many styles of abstract in an effort to help you discover your place as an abstract artist. In this class you will learn how to create a texture base and how to layer applications of paint. We will also work through the rules of composition and how the rule of thirds applies.
Ultimately you will decide what you want to paint using me as your guide and mentor.
The cost of this class is $125 for 4 weekly sessions and because I will supply the paint, canvas and tools needed I also charge an additional $50 for supplies due the first class.
