AcroYoga is a dynamic partner practice that blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of healing arts. These three lineages form the foundation of a partner practice that cultivates trust, playfulness, and community.This session is primarily a jam session, where you can practice and play together.
For beginners there will also be some time at the start of this session where a couple of people will work with beginners to help for the first hour or so. For beginners and those who want to top up their skills, there is an AcroYoga intro workshop every month or so at Open Source Arts (see our Calendar page for the next one or get in touch with us).
Join us for a jam, we will progress our practice and solve problems together. If you would like to join us for conditioning/handstand training then please come along.
Bring a drink, snack, and comfortable clothes good for moving around.

Accessibility
There are two gender neutral toilets on the ground floor, one is accessible. We have baby changing facilities in the accessible toilet. You are welcome to breastfeed your baby here.
Open Source Arts is accessed via a slightly uneven floor outside. The main door is about a metre in width and 5 metres in height. The venue is split over two floors, with access to the upstairs (housing the cafe and dance studio spaces) via a staircase of 14 stairs with hand banisters on both sides, which unfortunately is not currently wheelchair accessible.
We have very limited parking on site – which is reserved for those who must drive for access.
If you require a free place for a personal assistant or have any other accessibility questions, please get in touch with us in good time before you intend to arrive and we will do our best to help.
