Want a first look at the goals and vision behind an all-new, year-long creative and community-driven project? Join us on Tuesday, August 26 at 6:00PM at Lowell TeleMedia Center (LTC), 246 Market St.The Acre Art & History Activation Project will explore and uplift the rich cultural fabric and historical legacy of Lowell’s Acre neighborhood through public art, storytelling, and interactive experiences. It will utilize these stories to bring more attention to the businesses of the Acre, uplifting the place and the space. Just like Visualize Lowell's Black History, we're recruiting a community-led team to be at the heart of planning.
The project will eventually include a range of activities, such as art installations, walking tours, pop-up events, and history-inspired performances—but the planning starts now, and the community is at the heart of it.
Who Should Attend the Info Session?
