Every Wednesday at The Dark Horse Tavern, Acoustic Open Mic night hosted by Seamus Mighty Lungs McMullan. This is an open mic, come share your gifts, and tell your musically inclined friends. A mixing board, speakers, cables and 2 microphones with stands provided. If you need more than that please bring your own gear. Hand percussion is allowed, and collaboration is encouraged. No house guitar, please bring your own instruments.
Signups start at 7:00 PM, no early signups, so everyone has the same opportunity to play. The event will end at 10:00 PM. Poetry, dance, comedy, and any other performance art is encouraged. The set time will depend on how many people show up to perform, most likely 3-4 songs or 15-20 minutes per act. If we have a slow night, stick around and we will do a lightning round at the end and go back through the list.
Please no metal music, and no obscene content. Swear like a sailor elsewhere, I do when the mood strikes, and feel free to organize your own metal open mic somewhere if that’s your thing.
