South Amboy Arts Alliance presents its next Acoustic Friday showcase on November 21, 2025, with performances by Acoustic Edu and Michael Askin.Acoustic Edu is a dynamic acoustic duo delivering a fresh spin on pop and rock favorites from every era. With stripped-down, soulful renditions of songs ranging from Pearl Jam to Lady Gaga to Duran Duran, Acoustic Edu brings high energy, tight harmonies, and a touch of nostalgia to every performance. Whether it’s an intimate café set or a lively bar crowd, their engaging style and diverse song list make for an unforgettable live experience.
Michael Askin is singer/songwriter whose guitar work and melodies evoke the sound of 1970s’ Laurel Canyon. His 3 Eps have garnered positive reviews and college radio success. Michael’s own songs explore themes of lone, alienation, and a search for a light at the end of the tunnel.
SA Arts is located at 141 N. Broadway, South Amboy, NJ. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the show runs from 7 to 9 pm. Admission is $5.00, and complementary light refreshments will be offered.
