The 7th edition of the Arts and Cultural Management Conference in Vienna is coming!
About this Event

We are pleased to invite registrations to attend the ACMC 2024: Transgression and Collaboration, from 7 - 9 November 2024 in Vienna, Austria.

Keynotes, panel discussions, paper presentations and workshop sessions will be held across Thursday 7- Friday 8 November (Romanian Cultural Institute Vienna) and Saturday 9 November (University of Vienna and das Café).

In addition, each year the ACMC curates its very own exhibition with pioneering artists who contribute with diverse, pertinent artworks. This year, our exhibition entitled ‘Transgression & Collaboration’, co-curated by Carla Stamm, Alitza Nichole Cardona and Camila Suarez Monteolivia will take place at the Garage Grande, opening on the 7th of November at 6.30pm.

Workshops

'Managing Transgression and Collaboration in Athens' Artistic Renaissance', presented by Eleni Lozou, Arts Manager and Cultural Producer

Workshops presented in collaboration with Journal D'Ambroisie and Salon de la Sagesse

Panel Discussions

'Arts and Cultural Management Across Borders: National Perspectives' presented in collaboration with the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC). Guest speakers: Andreea Dinca (Director, Romanian Cultural Institute), Márton Méhes (Director, Collegium Hungaricum)

'Cultural Heritage', presented in collaboration with the European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC). Guest speakers: Spyridon Kogkas (Imagine Heritage Athens), Sorina Neacsu (ESACH), Dzina Skuratovich (THINGS Milan/ HeritACT Project), Anna Weistock Mentel (Regional Centre for Cultural Animation in Toruń). Chaired by Piotr Michalowski (ENCC/Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe)

'The Edge of Expression: Art, Transgression, and Collective Creation'. Guest speakers: Bernadette Anzengruber (multidisciplinary), Anyla Berisha (architect), Donika Cina (multimedia artist), Aulon Naçi (composer). Chaired by Theodora Danek (Content Manager Arts and Culture, European Forum Alpbach)

Paper Presentations

Themes explored including cultural heritage, artificial intelligence, cultural diplomacy, and more.

From its roots in Hamburg in 2018, the Arts and Cultural Management Conference (ACMC) has blossomed into an international platform for professionals and academics, artists and students interested in arts and cultural management. Founded by passionate students, our annual conference, diligently organised by diverse teams of volunteers, has become a beacon for cultural enthusiasts across the globe. The ACMC invites culture enthusiasts to join an innovative and diverse platform where they can present their research, exchange knowledge, expand their professional network and create meaningful connections within the sector.
