ACID–FREE is pleased to announce the return of the Los Angeles Art Book Market & Bazaar, a three-day event produced by a programming committee of LA-based publishers, librarians, and artists.
Join us October 24 – 26 for ACID–FREE V, a platform for 60+ West Coast and International exhibitors, alongside music programming, culinary collaborations, and special projects.
Production support by Cargo, Enpointe, Dublab, and Domestic Goods.

Sunday Scaries
Come by the Fair on Sunday 3pm to 7pm for family programming including DJs, trick or treating, a Spooky Zine Workshop for kids by Ooga Booga, and free Artist–Led Pumpkin Carving!
Food and drinks by Acid-Free’s own CA-FÉ, Tartine, and Triple Beam. Bar sponsored by Open Beer, Silverlake Wine, and Wonderwerk.

About Acid-Free
Founded by a programming collective of Los Angeles-based independent publishers in 2018, ACID-FREE aims to create new spaces for critical discussion and commerce in support of the diversity of independent publishing practices in the arts. The group’s guiding principles favor a non-hierarchical, ad-hoc working method, a financial structure that is not profit-driven, and a spirit of inclusion and collaboration whenever possible.
Visitor Information
The Acid-Free Los Angeles Art Book Market is a community led and supported event. Entrance is ticketed, pay what you can, with a suggested donation of $5. All ages are welcome and dogs are encouraged. Please consider RSVPing in advance allow us to gauge attendance.
Parking
There is no onsite parking during the Market. While there should be ample street parking, we encourage carpooling, ridesharing, and public transit.
Health, Safety, & Accessibility
While we warmly welcome masking, we will not be requiring it of exhibitors or visitors. If you feel sick, please do not attend.
All spaces and floors of Marta's Gallery and Courtyard are wheelchair accessible. Kindly note that the ground covering in the Garden is composed of gravel, making wheelchair traversal limited. There is a 5 step staircase between the Garden and Courtyard, but accessible entry is possible through entrances at Rowena and La Paz.
