About this Event
This 1-hour mindful movement class is designed to help people who are stuck in cycles of high stress and high anxiety connect to their mind-body. The class incorporates mindfulness based stress reduction techniques and somatic education practices based in the Alexander Technique to help you learn new ways to be mindful and release excess tension in your body.
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Never meditated? No problem. Don't move your body much? No issue. This class is beginner friendly and involves as much movement as feels safe in your body on the day of class.
Take this mid-week opportunity to decompress from your high stress work environment and learn a new kind of self care.

Meet Your Teacher:
Serena Venditto, m.AmSAT is an Alexander Technique Teacher and Somatic Educator certified by the American Society of the Alexander Technique (AmSAT). As someone who struggled with being told that she “needed to relax” and “wanted things too much”, Serena is excited to teach people how to work through perfectionism and fear of failure with the Alexander Technique. With over 1600 hours of training, she offers gentle hands-on instruction and guiding principles to support your journey toward greater presence and well-being.
