About this Event
This training will cover the importance of the ACEs Study in our community today. You will have a chance to complete the ACEs Questionnaire and discuss the meaning of ACEs scores. We will focus our discussion on the developing neuroscience of ACEs, connecting trauma to brain development. And most importantly, we will focus on how to build resilience in the population to deal with historical trauma, social conditions, and adverse childhood experience history in our communities.
Learn from Wendy Dickens, First 5 Shasta Executive Director, and Susan Morris Wilson, Youth Options Shasta Executive Director, how childhood trauma impacts us as individuals.
Snacks provided.
