When I say posture, you say....? Maybe sitting up straight, shoulders back, arch in your back? Sounds.....restricting. Sue likes to challenge the concept of posture and other fitness related messaging in a humorous and informative way. Posture is our bodies strategy for handling gravity. Along with this, we have human asymmetries that can naturally turn and twist our body causing stuck and sometimes painful/stiff movement.
Let's make posture effortless. Even typing that relaxes my body.
This workshop, we explore posture not as a shape to hold—but as a reflection of how your ribcage and pelvis communicate. More movement is needed in the spine that being stiff and upright. When these two foundations are in sync, your body feels lighter, breathing gets easier, and movement flows naturally.
Through guided drills, movement and assessable positions, you’ll learn how to take control from the inside out. Expect to move, laugh, and leave with tools to carry ease into everything you do—real change should not come with mental energy. Our body moves in the path of least resistance so we will aim to open up your range to create more options.
This class is ideal for anyone who wants to:
Improve comfort in daily movement or creative work
Reduce tension in the neck, back, and hips
Understand how posture affects breathing and energy
Feel more connected and grounded in your own body
