About this Event

Founded and established by Mr. in 2017, ACE®️ aims to support Singapore’s food security goal through sustainable fish farming. This led to the construction of Eco-Ark®️, the world's first purpose built closed containment floating fish farm, in November 2019, just a few kilometres off of Changi Village.

SFSS is arranging for a visit to the ACE®️ Floating Fish Farm, namely ACE Eco-Ark and ACE Eco-Spark. These two floating structures are next to each other and connected by a linkway.

Key takeaways from the visit will be:

Ø Appreciate the value of floating structures for the development of the fish farm

Ø Understand the importance of sustainability in seafood production

Ø Gain insights regarding the role of fish farming in Singaporean food politics and security

Ø Learn about the lifecycles and biology of the fishes, from hatchling to harvesting

Ø Visit the tank tunnel inside the Floating Fish Farm for an immersive experience

And, of course, fish tasting at the end of the visit!
