About this Event

For every start up business one priority will be financial considerations. What type of business might be one question …sole trader or limited company? A further consideration will be managing and keeping track of financial transactions. This will involve recording, analysing, and interpreting the financial data to make informed business decisions as well as to make sure you meet tax requirements.

At its core it will be arranging your bookkeeping to ensure you record all financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, expenses, and payments, in a systematic manner either manually or by using accounting software.

This workshop will cover all of these areas to help advise on how to set-up and keep control.

Core areas covered

  • Sole Trader business model v limited company model
  • When to register with HMRC and deadlines
  • The need for a separate Business Account and free business banking options available
  • Keeping business records / expense receipts and benefits to using accounting software
  • Professional support etc
