Exploring the concept of Good Work and engaging with accreditation frameworks - a roundtable discussion

We invite you to an engaging session designed to illuminate the vital role of 'Good Work' in the sustainable growth of organisations. This event will showcase leading companies that have excelled in implementing outstanding workplace practices, and who have navigated certification and accreditation schemes with success. Participants will be introduced to various pathways towards achieving such standards, offering evidence-based insights into how these practices contribute to organisational success and employee wellbeing. Engage with business leaders and explore the multifaceted approaches to embedding ethical and effective work principles within your business framework.


What is 'Good Work'? Good work encompasses various elements, including fair compensation, opportunities for growth and development, a healthy work-life balance, diversity and inclusion, ethical leadership, and a supportive workplace culture.

Accreditations & certifications Formal recognitions such as ISO certifications and BCorp accredidation are becoming more and more sought after, enhancing company credibility and improving workplace culture. Accreditations can be pursued through various pathways and criteria, such as implementing best practice, adhering to industry standards and engaging with employees and stakeholders to ensure alignment with company values.


This event is aimed at businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly with ambitions for gaining accreditations, or to understand more about the concept of Good Work

This event is part of the University of Exeter’s Evolve Futures programme of business support services, products and activities, all fully funded through the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Good Growth Hub and Shared Prosperity Fund.
