Accredited First Aid Course

HLTAID003 PROVIDE FIRST AID (LEVEL II FIRST AID)The First Aid is an accredited course. This includes HLTAID001 Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support.

All young people are required to complete an online first aid booklet online prior to the training day and will need need to provide a USI number as part of the booking.

This training will be provided free of charge to young people who live, work of study in the Mildura region. All catering will be provided on the day.

What will be covered:

• Assess the casualty and recognise the need for first aid response

• Respond to an emergency situation

• Apply appropriate first aid procedures

• Perform CPR procedures

• Communicate details of the incident

• Evaluate the incident and own performance

Young People’s Requirements:

• All young people must be aged 14 - 25 years and live, work of study in the Mildura Rural City Council Area.

• Able to complete a workbook online (approx 4-6 hours) prior to the training day

• Have identification and USI number.

• Be able to attend the training at 2nd Mildura Scout Hall, 39 Twelfth Street Mildura 9am to 1.30pm
